Deployment and assurance

Start with evidence. Earn the right to automate.

Minealytics capabilities are deployed around the plant’s existing control boundaries. The operating mode is agreed with the site and advanced only when validation, fallback behaviour and the safety case support it.

A staged rollout

Each step produces evidence for the next.

01

Define the problem

Agree the operating objective, scope, constraints and safety boundary with the site team.

02

Audit data and instrumentation

Check signal quality, time alignment, labels, camera views, control interfaces and failure modes.

03

Validate offline

Test predictions and recommendations against historical and labelled events before they influence operations.

04

Run in shadow mode

Compare live outputs with operator decisions and measured outcomes without changing plant control.

05

Introduce approved control

Use operator-approved targets or supervised actions with clear limits, alarms and rollback behaviour.

06

Review before closed-loop use

Advance only when performance, reliability, operator confidence and the site safety case support it.

Control boundary: no model becomes the safety system. Site PLC, DCS and safety instrumented system interlocks remain the final authority, with a defined fallback when data or model confidence is not available.

Site inputs

What a deployment typically needs.

  • Historian and process tags with known units, quality flags and timestamps
  • Camera feeds or images where computer vision is part of the solution
  • An approved PLC, DCS or PCS integration path
  • Operator, process and control-engineering input
  • A defined validation window and agreed success measures

Evidence

What gets measured.

  • Prediction error, precision, recall and missed-event rates
  • Throughput, recovery, quality, energy and water outcomes
  • Operator interventions, alarms and fallback events
  • Availability, latency and data-quality behaviour
  • Performance across the operating conditions that matter to the site

Bring us the plant problem, not just the data.

We can help define the first measurable use case, the required signals and the safest path to operational value.
